The project is aimed at the development of the cooperation between cross-border regions as well as contribution to the development of the good neighbourly cooperation based on partnership between Poland, Lithuania and Russian Federation.
Main estimated results of the project are the following:
- Creation of “The Cultural Trail of Borderland Atlantis” uniting such towns as Krasnogruda-Sejny (Poland), Kėdainiai (Lithuania) and Kaliningrad (Russia) as the first pioneer section of the European Trail of Dialogue.
- Publication of “The Guide of the Cultural Trail of the Borderland Atlantis: Krasnogruda-Sejny, Kėdainiai, Kaliningrad”.
- Digital collection of 23 books and other materials (digitalised postcards from rich Borderland Center collection) in English, Russia, Lithuanian and Polish, available for wide public.
- Web-site about the project activities and project partners.
- Organization of “Borderland Atlantis” multimedia exhibition, serving as an educational tool.
- Training of six trail guides.
- Elaboration of sample lesson plans in reference to all three countries which in the future could be implemented in the schools for children and youth.
