The overall objective of the project is to develop joint international cooperation between tourist information units of Lithuania-Poland-Russia cross-border area through strengthening and development of cooperation between tourist information units in three neighbouring countries enabling substitutive development of employees of Tourist Information Points and Centres by participation in trainings and study visits as well as by increasing the attractiveness, developing of cognitive tourism and cultural heritage tourism of the Programme area through means of common publication and participation in tourism fairs.
Main estimated results of the project are as follows:
- Three project offices established in three partner countries – one in each country.
- 3 partner working meetings organized – one in each partner country.
- 3 32-hour-long workshops for employees of Tourist Information Points and Centres of Lithuania-Poland-Russia cross-border area organized (1 in each country) for 63 participants.
- 6 study visits for employees of Tourist Information Points and Centres of Lithuania-Poland-Russia cross-border area organized (2 per each country) for 72 participants from target audience of the project activities and for 27 journalists.
- Practical tourist guidebook released in four languages (Polish, Lithuanian, Russian and English).
- Final project evaluation conference organized in Kaliningrad.
