On April 17, 2013 the official delegation from Kętrzyn (Poland) visited Ozersk in Kaliningrad oblast for the meeting under ILPR.02.02.00-28-126/10-00 project, “Sport education on cross-border territory - preparation and building of sports stadium in Ketrzyn Community and Ozyorsk”. The Polish delegation consisted of Mr. Sławomir Jarosik, the Wójt of Gmina kętrzyn (Head of Kętrzyn Municipality), Mr. Marek Leszek Olszewski, The Gmina Secretary (the Head of Administration), and Inspector, Miroslaw Orynczak - Project Coordinator on the Polish part.

The agenda was covering the issues of further cooperation and reporting on the progress achieved over the 4 months of the project implementation.
The Executives from Kętrzyn Municipality met Mr. V.V. Puzyrevsky, the Head of OZERSKY REGION Municipality Administration who assured the Polish partners of full adherence to the commitments by the Russian party.
Over the past two months after the previous meeting in Kętrzyn a number of issues and challenges have come onto the agenda requiring direct attention of the partners. All of them found successful solutions in the course of the meeting.
Project Coordinators, Pavel Yelizarov and Miroslaw Orynczak brought their reports to ‘a common denominator’, and by April 18 they will be submitted by Mr. M. Orynczak to the Joint Technical Secretariat of Lithuania-Poland-Russia ENPI CBC Programme 2007-2013.
It has been confirmed that a number of autumn one-day sports events (football, volleyball and ping-pong competitions) will be held in Kętrzyn as was prescheduled in the Activity Plan. New sports uniform for the Russian competitors has been developed and will soon be procured.
In conclusion of the meeting Mr. Sławomir Jarosik emphasized that big hopes were anchored on the new Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020, which would allow continuing beneficial cooperation in future.
