DESIGN AN EUROPEAN COOPERATION DAY POSTER – A CONTEST FOR CHILDREN

2013-07-24
Be part of this year's European Cooperation Day!

European Territorial Cooperation is a tool of the European Union that brings people together, across borders, in order to solve common or similar issues that cannot be easily managed within a single country. By pulling together knowledge and resources, European Territorial Cooperation helps strengthen administration, transportation, healthcare, education and so much more. European Cooperation Day takes place on 21 September and celebrates the benefits and achievements of Territorial Cooperation through local events throughout Europe.

Join in on the celebration of European Cooperation Day by designing a poster that represents cooperation between people in Europe!

Who can apply? Children age 16 and under living in Europe and neighboring countries.
Deadline for submissions: 24 August 2013.

How to enter? Design a poster on an A3 size paper (420 x 297 mm) using any art materials (markers, pencils, paint, collage, watercolours, etc.) including graphic design software. Send the poster either by mail to the address below, or scan the poster and send it as a high resolution pdf or jpg to: ip.vienna@interact-eu.net.

Judging: Posters will be judged based on their originality, creativity, quality and relevance to the themes "Working together for a better Europe" or "Sharing borders, growing closer".
Selected posters will be featured at a public exhibition in Vienna celebrating European Cooperation Day on the weekend of 21 September 2013.

Prizes: The top three poster designers will receive prize packs.
All submissions must be accompanied by an entry form which includes a parent or legal guardian's signature consenting to the use of poster designs on the European Cooperation Day website, social media accounts and at events.

Use of posters design: By entering the competition, entrants agree that any poster design submitted to the competition may be used by the European Cooperation Day campaign organisers for promoting the campaign and European Territorial Cooperation in general in the future.
