HIGH CLASS EQUIPMENT IN THE NEW UNIT OF THE J. SNIADECKI VOIVODESHIP POLYCLINICAL HOSPITAL IN BIALYSTOK (POLAND)

In the framework of a project LPR1/010/148 - “Development of Co-operation in Order to Improve Health Safety of the Population of the Russia – Lithuanian – Polish Borderland", co-financed by the European Union from the ENPI CBC Programme Lithuania- Poland -Russia 2007-2013 and the budget of Podlaskie Selfgoverment, the Voivodeship Polyclinic Hospital in Bialystok purchased high quality equipment for the new imaging diagnostics unit.
New equipment is i.a.: two cameras ultrasound , X-ray arm type "C" with the operation table, two transportable X-ray cameras for taking tests near the patient bed and one X-ray camera called “telekomando".
Already used devises have been also modernized and all devices are now connected in a modern computer system so that the results of the research will be digitally transmitted.
These purchases were part of the large investment to build a new hospital building - the Diagnostic Imaging Unit (with operating block, recovery room, imaging diagnostic and treatment rooms) which was opened on October 25, 2013.The use of block for patients will begin in November.
