POSTCARD CONTEST FOR CHILDREN - LITHUANIA, POLAND, RUSSIA - NEIGHBOURS, PARTNERS AND FRIENDS – EDITION 2

On the occasion of  Day of Europe (9 of May, 2014) ENPI Cross Border Cooperation Programme Lithuania-Poland-Russia 2007-2013 is pleased to announce a competition for children for the most interesting postcard on the theme "Lithuania, Poland, Russia - neighbours, partners and friends."


Who can apply? 

The competition involves individual or group of school children (consisting of maximum 2 members) making a postcard (front page) referring to the title "Lithuania, Poland, Russia - neighbours, partners and friends."

There is only one condition:

The Participant (children between  6 and 13 years old) must be a resident of one of the following territories mentioned in the paragraph 4.8. of the Main Rules of the contest (in Lithuania: counties of Klaipėda, Tauragė, Mariampolė, Alytus, Telšiai, Šiauliai, Kaunas.
In Poland - following voidodeships: Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Podlaskie, Pomorskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie, and following districts from Mazowieckie voivodeship: Grajewski, Kolneński, Łomżyński, Łomża city, Wysokomazowiecki, Zambrowski, Żurominski, Mławski, Ciechanowski, Sierpecki, Płocki, Płock city, Płoński, Gostyniński, Przasnyski, Ostrołęcki, Ostrołęka city, Makowski, Pułtuski, Wyszkowski, Ostrowski, Węgrowski, Sokołowski, Siedlecki, Siedlce city, Łosicki.
In Russia: Kaliningrad Region.)

Timeline for submissions: 

Competition starts on 28.04.2014 and ends on 31.05.2014. 

How to enter: 

• Participants can submit ideas in the form of postcard: draw or paint a picture, make a collage etc. All 3 countries should be included into the work! The work can be made in any format, but maximum format is A4. Each Participant may submit up to 3 works for the com-petition.

• The competition is divided into two age categories:
1. Children of 6-9 years (Classes 1-3)
2. Children of 10-13 years (Classes 4-7)

• The works should be sent by 31.05.2014 (day of post stamp) to:

Judging:

Postcards will be judged based on :
• artistic values of the postcard;
• general idea of the postcard;
• adequacy to the subject (cooperation, neighbourhood or friendship between of Lithua-nia, Poland and Russia in any meaning);
• representation of all 3 countries (Lithuania, Poland, Russia) in the Work in any type of presentation
• if the participant would decide on usage of any national, Programme or European Union signs or visuals (flags, logos etc.) correctness of used in the Work signs will value;

Prizes:

The top three postcards authors will receive prizes in kind. The main prize is e-book reader! The participating children can win also one of attractive prizes like badminton set, backpack and many many others! Some of the pictures can receive also additional special awards.

Use of works: 

By entering the competition Participants agree that any postcard submitted to the competi-tion may be used by the Programme for any promotional reasons, including the European Cooperation Day campaign and ENPI promotional campaigns in general in the future.

We look forward to receive many postcards ideas!

In the future the postcards will decorate website of the Programme and the materials promoting the cooperation between Lithuania, Poland and Russia under Lithuania-Poland-Russia ENPI Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013 co-financed by the European Union.
