THE TRAININGS FOR BENEFICIARIES AND PARTNERS OF LARGE INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS (LIPs) WERE CONDUCTED ON THE 20TH AND 25TH OF OCTOBER 2016 IN OLSZTYN AND KALININGRAD

Practical trainings for the Beneficiaries and Partners of Large Infrastructure Projects (LIPs) from Poland and Russia took place in Olsztyn (Poland) on 20th of October and in Kaliningrad (Russia) on 25th of October 2016. Both trainings were attended by more than 30 persons, representing different institutions involved in potential LIPs of Poland-Russia Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020. Participants representing potential beneficiaries from such Polish cities as Malbork, Suwalki, Bialystok, Tolkmicko, Olecko, Olsztyn and Russian Kaliningrad Region took part in the training.


The Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) Project Managers in cooperation with TESIM expert and Joint Managing Authority representative invited the participants to get to know more details about the requirements for LIPs, time schedule for their preparation and assessment procedure. The focus was placed on the practical information about the LIPs - preparation and submission of the Project Summary. The JTS Project Manager presented the whole document in details describing what is requested under each point. The participants got to know a number of hints which might help while filling in the Project Summary. Besides the detailed presentation of the Project Summary form, the participants of the training also had a possibility to take part in the practical workshop. During the workshop methodological approach for intervention logic and indicators was presented. Those Lead Beneficiaries, which prepared a draft of their Project Summaries before the training and brought the Project Fiches approved in Joint Operational Programme Poland-Russia 2014-2020, had an opportunity to consult individually their approach. 

All participants used a chance to ask questions on the information presented and clarify other related matters.
