PROJECT CULART II WAS SIGNED FOR IMPLEMENTATION

Project that will be centered on the development of human potential by improvement of educational opportunities was submitted during the first call for proposals by the Association of Polish Communes of Euroregion Baltic (Poland) acting as a lead partner under the Priority 2 Pursuing social, economic and spatial development, Measure 2.2 Development of human potential by improvement of social conditions, governance and educational opportunities. On August 23rd 2012 JMA (Polish Ministry of Regional Development) and the Association of Polish Communes of Euroregion Baltic ratified the Grant contract by its signatures with the total amount of 250 000,00 Euro of EU contribution.

Although the budget of the project is not so big it holds a far-reaching consequencies. Applicant together with its partners from all three Programme countries - Community Foundation “Kaliningrad” (Russia), Regional state educational institution of additional professional education (raising qualification) of specialists of culture and art «Educational-Methodical Centre» (EMC) (Russia), Samogithian Community Foundation (Lithuania) – plans to undertake several culture oriented activities in order to achieve the overall objective of development of human potential.

During the implementation phase of the project partners will:

1) make the analysis of all cultural projects ever implemented on the territories of the cross-border cooperation;
2) elaborate a course for qualification improvement for cultural professionals of cultural facilities of the small town of the cross-border regions including improvement of e-skills;
3) research the accessibility of distant educational resources on the topic of cultural development in the partner countries;
4) organize study visits, kick off and closing conferences, meetings and work meetings of the partners and stakeholders of the project for its better maintenance and evaluation as well as for useful experience exchange on the issue;
5) conduct language courses in Polish and English.

All activities will be accompanied by publication of necessary materials in printing and electronic form what will also help to solve the issue of promoting the project and its results and maintain the rule of visibility.
